You know who said that?
The people that live in this house
I know because I keep moving into their old homes!
Good thing for finishers that now Fathers know better then to say, "that 30 year old oak is just fine." The correct response is simply, "Yes, Dear."
You know why everyone loved Raymond?
He said Yes, Dear and painted his cabinets!
And what does this have to do with Surfaces and faux finishing?
We are starting back our 2015 class series with a week of Cabinetry!
Now usually I have a class on our web-site calendar but the following happened:
We went to Alaska for 2 weeks.
Came home sick.
Moved 4 days later.
Realized our new home is a mess.
The End.
So, before I knew it August was here and I needed to get going on classes. I appreciate all the requests! To speed things up, I'm posting this class here and on our Facebook Fan Page (Surfaces Fine Paint). If something catches your eye, give me a call at the studio (913-888-9996) and I'm happy to answer your questions and even happier to take your class deposit! Remember I have my own fixer-upper to tackle. You can be sure I will chronicle those adventures here.

Well that's it for now! But if these dates don't work, we will be having more classes in the fall and winter. And we are happy to host students in our home again. You might have to dodge a few boxes or look at blue tape (or take down popcorn-hey a girl can dream!) but I know you understand.
Wood is good but a makeover is better!
Amen! That's a passel of beautiful well done samples!
